Reinvention

Have you been to my site in awhile?

If not, get over there and check it out!  All the galleries are completely new with bigger photos!  In fact, I completely revised the way I will present photos.  In fact, you're going to see the way I approach my business take a sharp right turn in the next month or so. 

Why?

Well, as you can see from the galleries, the combination of one or more photos can create a very compelling story.  Ultimately, my idea goal is to get the story in one, single, image but it doesn't always happen that way...especially with dogs.

Chew With Your Mouth Closed!

Last weekend Gracie's Grammy gave her these Liver Biscotti treats and she LOVES them. Everytime I would give her one, I would start laughing at how loud she chewed them. So I had to take a video and share it with everyone.

Canvas

I love ordering a canvas because it comes ready to hang and I don't have to bother with pesky frames!

I got my 20" x 30" canvas last week and it did not disappoint!

Expensive?  Yes.

Worth it?  Absolutely!

Blue Gracie

Just some fun shots that I took on Saturday evening in my studio, right as dusk was setting in.  I had to go get some white paper from my local camera store a few weeks ago and the pretty blue one was staring at me so I bought it.  At only $28 a roll, it was hard to not buy every roll they had!  Especially the really pretty red one!

After shooting quite a few dogs lately, it was nice to hang with G and shoot her because she is so patient and mellow in front of my camera. I rarely have to bribe her with treats. I usually just say 'sit' and 'wait' and she does.  But sometimes she sticks her tongue out at me or just can't help herself and gives me a few kisses.

I couldn't help but notice how old she is looking here.  She is only 3.5 years old!  She still has quite the spring in her step though.

Georgia, Milo, + Mom

Earlier this summer I went with my Mom to go pick up the Basset Hound's (Margie + Morning) from Doggy Daycare. She wanted me to see how fun and amazing their property was and she was right! But I also wanted to go because she had mentioned that the owners of the daycare were taking care of a litter of puppies! I had to go get my puppy fix because I beg my husband daily to get another puppy and he keeps saying no. One of these days he is going to get sick of me asking and give in (anyone want his email address?)

When we got there, the puppies were visiting with someone already.  We got to talking and turns out I knew her, and her sweet Georgia, from online!  Even better, she was trying to pick out a puppy to take home with her. 

She picked out Mr. Milo!  I told her that I just had to come over and take pics of the pups when Milo came home and I finally got to do that yesterday!   It was so much fun.

As you look through the photos, do you see those madly adorable cute collars?  Their Mom makes those!  She is even going to make one for Gracie.  I just I hope she has enough fabric for that humongous neck!  Her site is appropriately named after Georgia.
