Snow Stack

Another shot from our snowy day in Seattle this week.

Isn't she just beautiful?

And I just thought I would mention, that we are in talks for puppy #2!  Hopefully a Male Dane this time.  We're not sure on the timing just yet but most likely end of summer early fall if all works out.

I want to name him Wilson.  Then I could yell "WILSOOONNNNN" at the Dog Park like Tom Hanks.  But also, it was my maiden name so I think that would be very fitting.

A general Gracie rule of thumb:

Mom has camera out.

Must turn around and face the other way.

Just Drop It

I take a lot of photos of friends and family and I have always found that burning a CD is too troublesome for me.  I hate burning them and then trying to figure out a good time for them to come get it or going to the post office to mail it.  Either way I'm stuck with the majority of the work.

Why can't I just send them over the internet?

Well now I can.  Thanks to my friend Dawn, who shared this site with me.  I have been playing with it the last week or so and sending files to friends + family that have been sitting on my hard drive for far too long.

It is called http://drop.io and it is free, free, free.  You can drop files up to 80mb, add notes, hyperlinks, etc.  Have a drop that is over 80 mb?  You can upgrade to premium for that drop if you like.  Or, you don't have to pay a thing and do what I did, and create multiple drops with the same file name and vary it a bit.

If you want to see what it looks like I have created a demo drop at http://drop.io/missgracie

No more burning for me!

Snow Day in Seattle

We woke up to a gorgeous winter wonderland this morning.

I don't think snow will ever lose its magic for me.  Gracie loves it too.

The sunrise and sky was so dramatic this morning that I had to get out and shoot a few frames.

School is closed and the neighborhood kids are already outside making a snowman or snowwoman.  We'll see how that goes.

Oooo Pretty

I love wrinkles.

Gracie + Grammy (part 2)

Gracie loves her Grammy.

But I think she might love looking out the window for cats more.
