Bean (beagle) and Daisy (boston terrier) live behind us and Gracie is always peering through the hole in the fence to see what they are up to. Every time I look out the window I see her like this.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I sneak little treats through the hole every so often. I can't resist the little Bean nose that is always sticking through. It is the cutest.
When she was younger and would hear the neighbors come outside, she used to jump up on the fence, stick her head over and see what was going on. How funny to look out into your back yard and see a big Great Dane head staring back at you.
I call her my Peeping Dog.
An email from a friend made me realize that my little blog has been Gracie-Less for at least a week. I feel so ashamed, especially since I just heard that a friend lost their Great Dane yesterday. Terrible news and reminds me to give my Gracie extra kisses each and every day.
Since Spring has finally decided to show itself in Seattle, I decided I wanted to get a few shots of her with the gorgeous tree (that just decided to bloom this week) as the backdrop. Miss Gracie was of course being funny for the camera. Never serious. Just like her Mom.
Jill these are for you.
